EFS PhD Research Scholarships

The division offers a limited number of research scholarships for candidates undertaking doctoral research full time in the departments of Accounting & Finance, Actuarial Studies, Business, Economics or Statistics.

The division is especially keen to receive applications from persons wishing to undertake doctoral research in one of our major areas of research or in one of our identified projects.

The award stipend is currently $32,500 per annum, tax exempt. Tenure is for 3 years, subject to satisfactory progress.

University and Commonwealth Funded Scholarships in EFS

The University provides several scholarships of interest to Postgraduate students. Candidates, including international students, who successfully apply for one of these scholarships and undertake their candidature within the Division of Economic and Financial Studies can expect to have their award stipend increased to a total of $32,500, tax exempt.
